Machine Tool Factory, Inc. is a machine tool company located in Santa Fe Springs, CA, a center for companies in the machining industry. We specialize in CNC and conventional machinery, and we also offer emergency services.
Our History
Our company was founded in 1984 by Bob Bovee. We started as a 1200 sq. ft. shop in Fullerton, CA. By 1989, the business had grown into a 2400 sq. ft. establishment with 4 employed mechanics.
In 2001, Machine Tool Factory, Inc. moved to a new location in Torrance, CA. When we outgrew that facility, we settled in a 5000 sq. ft. building in Santa Fe Springs, CA.
We had become a full-service machine shop that offered rebuild and repair services. The business also had overhead cranes throughout the facility and enough space to accommodate larger rebuilds.
By 2008, we had 9 full-time employees and 6 service vehicles serving over 100 customers in our area.
